This past Friday, the African Students’ Union and STAND hosted the fundraiser Dunk  for Darfur, an open basketball tournament in the bays of Walker Field House. Nine teams of roughly five or six players entered, each playing two games before (hopefully) advancing to the six-team single elimination round. After several hours and many games,  Casey Black ’10, Andy McKenzie ’10 and Max Monks ’10 emerged as the winners.

Proceeds raised by player entrance fees and local sponsors went to the Genocide Intervention Network, with which STAND is affiliated. For more information and to make a donation, visit their website.
