You really make it seem so easy with your presentation however I in finding this matter to be actually something which I think I might never understand. It seems too complex and extremely wide for me. I am taking a look forward to your next publish, I will try to get the cling of it!

My wife and i ended up being absolutely contented when Peter could do his basic research via the ideas he came across from your web page. It is now and again perplexing just to happen to be making a gift of instructions which often some other people could have been trying to sell. We know we now have the website owner to appreciate because of that. The main illustrations you have made, the easy web site navigation, the friendships you will help promote - it's got all spectacular, and it's really making our son and the family recognize that that content is cool, and that's quite mandatory. Thanks for the whole lot!

In the 1992/1993 school year, I specifically remember following results for the Bush-Clinton election by visiting external servers. Weather and song lyrics were also popular searches. E-mail addresses were available that year, but we had to fill out a special request form to obtain an address. I am not sure if it is still used, but students used "BC" at that time to informally communicate on campus from computer to computer. BC performed the same functionality as MS Messenger, which was introduced to the public by Microsoft many years later. Did Vassar develop that BC program?

The Internet arrived at Vassar prior to 1995. As I recall, we had an appletalk network that gave us access to the outside world in 1993, even if the Web itself (and thus, the Vassar Homepage) was in its infancy. I can't speak to earlier days, but I wouldn't be surprised if we were online far earlier than that.

Nice job! The Miscellany News is to be congratulated on the strides it has made in the past several years. It's exponentially better than it was when I was at Vassar.

As an alumni who has worked closely with 3 presidents of vassar college, I feel the Vassar Community struck a great blow to the future of Vassar by having President Fergusson leave. fergusson had class and was incredibly bright. Hill will be Vassar's downfall into mediocrity

This was certainly a remarkable era for this college, one that should be recognized and remembered by students. As an alum, I can tell you that the Vassar of 10-20 years ago was far different from the one that current students know today. The campus was in nowhere near as good condition, and now we have perfect grounds and high-end facilities (you can thank Fran for that). Our applicant numbers have doubled, our socioeconomic diversity has deepened, and we're attracting and accepting the most exemplary students in the country. I am proud to be a part of this community and to call Vassar my alma mater.
